Call 895-4546 or 897-8374 and ask: WALA NA BA ANG NGAYON NA, BAYAN!

WHAT COULD BE MORE IRONIC THAN... a so-called "People Power radio station" suspending an awarded talkshow known for discussing critical socio-political issues on air?

WHAT COULD BE MORE IRONIC THAN ...

...having a 2002 KBP Golden Dove awardee radio talk show like NGAYON NA, BAYAN! suspended from airing two days before its fifth anniversary on February 26?

...the suspension being made on February 24, the 20th anniversary of People Power 1, the same day the Arroyo administration declared a State of National Emergency and the implementation of Presidential Proclamation 1017?

... the suspension was made by DZRJ, a "People Power radio station" which played a crucial role in airing information and commentaries both during the 1986 and 2001 EDSA People Power?

... the fact that DZRJ got its name Radyo Bandido for eluding closure and broadcasting guerilla-style during the ouster of the Marcos Dictatorship, yet now it had the gall to censor a one-an-a-half talk show?

... the fact that DZRJ is cancelling the ONLY AWARDED PROGRAM in the station.

... the letters RJ in DZRJ are supposed to mean "righteousness and justice"

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS SUPPRESSION OF PRESS FREEDOM, PLEASE CALL DZRJ 810 AM RADYO BANDIDO, TEL. NOS. 895-4546, 897-8374 AND ASK: WALA NA BA ANG NGAYON NA, BAYAN!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO FRIENDS.
