GMA SATISFACTORY RATING REMAINS LOW -IBON SURVEY
Majority of Filipinos remain unhappy with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's performance as the country's top official, according to the latest IBON survey conducted on March 16-25.
Asked what they think of Pres. Arroyo's performance for the past three months, 82.56% of the 1,416 respondents said they were unsatisfied, while 7.98% said her performance was satisfactory. The president's net satisfactory rating is -74.58, almost the same as her net rating of -74.9 last January 2006.
Filipinos who were most unsatisfied with her performance were those from the informal sector (Others) with 89%, followed by workers and farmers (88%), housewives (87%), and businessmen (81%).
The IBON March Survey was conducted nationwide to find out the people's perception of the economy, their income and livelihood, government performance, and pressing issues. The latest survey has a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.
